Race to Save A Life is a suicide prevention program in affiliation with the National Yellow Ribbon Program, designed to help adolescents understand the warning signs related to suicide and to increase help-seeking behavior. A well-known life skill for saving lives in a fire emergency is “Stop-Drop-Roll.” This program teaches another vital emergency skill “Stay-Listen-Get Help.” The Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier has partnered with United Health Services to launch a Race To Save A Life Campaign in our community.
